School Daze

October has arrived with a vengeance and is sweeping by as quickly as the fleeting colors of Fall. The days grow shorter and the sweet, crispness of Autumn lingers in the air; meanwhile, school is back in full swing. It is often difficult to appreciate all the amenities of a learning environment when deadlines and busy schedules bog you down, let alone remember the small details of daily school life. A couple of weeks ago in Photo Media class, we ventured out of the classroom with the goal of capturing a photo essay on campus. While the school campus is not typically somewhere I would choose to photograph, I am thankful that this exercise allowed me to capture some of those small details that would otherwise be lost over time in the blur of faded memories.
